How you will make an impact

PLANETLY is aiming to become the largest platform for analyzing, reducing and offsetting CO2 in corporations across Europe. Tasks

  • You lead our sustainability expertise and establish best-practices for our clients
  • You understand our customer organization’s production, manufacturing, and other processes as they relate to sustainability, environmental impact, and regulatory compliance
  • You steer and contribute to customer-centric carbon accounting tools as well as verification and certification processes
  • You identify inefficiencies or areas where our customers can improve their environmental impact
  • You write reports detailing results of evaluations and present them to management, along with recommendations for improvement
  • You set guidelines and benchmarks for our customers’ environmental impact
  • You work with various departments within the company to incorporate sustainability practices and set conservation and environmental goals
  • You stay up-to-date with the changing regulatory ESG landscape
  • You design and lead training sessions or workshops on sustainability practices for employees and clients
  • You provide support on the development and maintenance of GHG accounting tools, including updating emission factors and giving technical support for clients
  • You regularly participate in management or board meetings with Planetly’s leadership team to inform strategic business and product decisions

Requirements

  • You have 5-10 years of multi-industry experience and have seen how a variety of companies deal with sustainability topics
  • You have diverse hands-on experience in topics of sustainability as a consultant or in various corporations
  • You have a university degree (Bachelor and/or Masters) in Social Sciences, Business, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Finance, or related disciplines
  • You have shown you can work on a team and deliver results together on time
  • You love to communicate and can turn complex information into easy and convincing messages
  • You love working with data & technology – Excel, databases, MS PowerPoint, and other apps are no biggie for you
  • You speak fluent English, German is a big plus
