In some positive news – a recent survey dive undertaken by the Seahorse Trust, a marine conservation charity, revealed that endangered spiny seahorse had recolonized Studland Bay in Dorset, UK. They found 16 seahorses, including pregnant males and a juvenile. They’ve attributed this to a reduction in people, boat traffic and associated noise and anchors.
