Did you know that seaweed can grow 30-60 times faster than land-based plants and captures lots of carbon very quickly? If it gets into the deep ocean and the carbon is sequestered, then that carbon is out of the system. We know seaweed has potential but we have to develop the technology. Seaweed could be a significant weapon in the fight against climate change if we make the right investments now.
