Did you know this? Tobacco farms around the world use more than 22 billion tonnes of water per year and 20,000 square miles of land to produce 6 trillion cigarettes (a mind blowing number!). Almost 90% of all tobacco production is concentrated in the developing world leaving those countries with the environmental impact, yet the majority of profit goes to developed countries. We could really use those resources for better things. One more reason to quit!
