Made from non-porous borosilicate glass which was founded by a German glass-making inventor named Otto Schott in the late 19th century. It is well known for its resistance to thermal shock, heat retention, is light weight, shock resistant, non-porous and has great optical clarity. Borosilicate is high grade glass free of harmful chemicals.

Australians use an estimated 1 billion disposable coffee cups each year (4). That’s approximately 2.7 million cups thrown out every day! Up to 90 per cent of all disposable cups ended up in landfill, equating to around 60,000 kilograms of plastic waste per annum.

Every part of the cup is dishwasher safe. Be sure to place all parts of the cup in the top rack of the dishwasher. Other wise, play it safe and go with a classic hand wash. The sleeve may be slippery when wet or when heated high temperatures. Ensure glass and sleeve are dry before use. Please do not use damaged product and handle broken glass with care.
Microwave safe. Be sure to remove the lid before reheating any liquids, and definitely check the temperature before drinking.
All of our packaging is thoughtful and plastic free. Where packages require padding, we use post-consumer, recycled shredded paper. Our tissue paper is custom designed and uses vegetable ink (rather than standard petroleum-based ink). It is acid, lignin and sulfur free and is FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council for sustainable forestry). Please reuse it where possible. Our mailers and envelopes are made from 100% recycled materials. Our thank you cards are made from 100% recycled cotton t-shirts. Our swing tags are made from card that can be recycled. Sleeves are made from 100% recycled stock. Labels are made from sugar cane waste and are compostable. We use paper tape for any additional closures. Please compost and recycle our packaging as appropriate. Joco cups are contained inside their own recylcable packaging.
This product is designed to last for years but if it reaches end of life, the glass can be recycled. Please remove the silicone lid and sleeve. Some areas will accept these for recycling whereas other facilities won't. Please check your local council or borough and dispose of accordingly.
