A favorite amongst us for a European sports holiday, Garmisch is also wonderful for the tourist carelessly wandering through Bavaria. Endless mountains, water, lakes and snow awaits; always.

Around the area

You must visit Partnachklamm Gorge, Lake Eibsee and head up Zugspitze mountain. Both are stunning. A short drive away is Mittenwald, a small painted little village, and across the border you can head straight into Innsbruck in Austria.
