The Waters of Perth

The Omeo Wrecks in Fremantle, Western Australia. You can picnic on the grass in front of them or grab your snorkel gear and get swimming.

Perth is nothing short on incredible sunsets over the sparkling seas. Head down to the beach any day in Summer and you’re likely to get a rainbow of colors between sea and sky.

My personal favorite beach near Perth is Yanchep Lagoon. Take the drive up, swim in the protected waters and walk around the left corner through the water to explore a few tiny, private pieces of sand between the rocks.

Perth’s waters are just restricted to the ocean. They’re also azure blue in abandoned mines. Red Hill Quarry and Black Diamond in Collie are two popular spots.
