Hipster Happy in Portland

The city that later inspired a TV series is indeed weird. And wonderful. And one of the places in the States I could easily soak up for a while. Divided into quarters, Portland is easy to navigate and a pleasure to cycle around on lazy summer days.

Straight out of Portland

A lot of craftmanship and passion lands in Portland and becomes iconic. Portland creates institutes. The Tiny House movement is strong there & they created Grovemade (these beautiful computer accessories). A must visit is the infamous Salt & Straw icecreamery (seriously good), Cargo (a store full of everything) and drinking a cup of Stumptown. And a stay at the Ace hotel

Portland was a dream both in the literal sense and the metaphorical sense, both tangible and not - a fleeting affair you want to hold on to but can't.
