PLANT THURSDAY // This striking leaf is the carnivorous trap of the Cobra Lily (Darlingtonia californica). This unique species, named after its traps looking like a cobra rising to strike, occurs only in ultra pure serpentine streams in Northern California and Southern Oregon, USA often up in the mountains. Has anyone here seen them?_
