On February 22nd 2017, Denmark generated enough energy using wind turbines to power the whole country for an entire day. This record achievement is just one in a number of recent strides in moving from unsustainable energy sources like coal to more sustainable options like wind or solar. We should be increasing our research and investment in renewable energy sources in an attempt to curb greenhouse gas emissions and work towards a more sustainable energy future.
