We might very well lose our tigers

We don’t know how to emphasize this more – but we might very well lose our tigers. There’s only a few thousand left in the wild and we desperately need to protect them.

Threatened by the illegal wildlife trade, habitat loss and conflict with humans, in the picture is the Bengal tiger which is currently endangered. Tigers are at the top of the food chain in the wild, and are a vital link in maintaining the rich diversity of nature. When tigers are protected, we save so much more. For example, with just one tiger, we protect around 25,000 acres of forest. These ecosystems supply both nature and people with fresh water, food, and health.
