Despite all the talk, we’re still not doing so well slowing down the effects of climate change. Right now there are people around the world already dying because of it. People who contributed least to the problem are suffering the most right now.
If we add up all the promises to cut emissions made by Paris Agreement countries, the world will still warm by more than 3C by 2100. Scientists agree that we need to keep temperature rises below 1.5c so we have a lot of work to do.
Make all the changes you can in your life where possible, get out to marches, talk about it with friends, support senators, mayors and ministers who are pushing bold ideas and keep calling your local representatives!
