Plastic Beach is a great short film about ocean plastic on Vancouver’s coast and the Clayoquot CleanUp’s beach cleaning process. It is estimated that there is currently 1.2 million pounds of plastic in the Clayoquot Sound, and the amount of debris washing in is rising exponentially every year. This film teaches us about the overwhelming reality of ocean plastics there. It’s only a 13 minute watch online and was filmed beautifully.
