Have you all been following @exxpedition? It’s such a cool project! Led by ocean advocate and skipper @missemilypenn it was founded in 2014. They’re a not-for-profit organization that runs all-female sailing research expeditions to investigate the causes of and solutions to ocean plastic pollution.
They have run expeditions all over the world and aim to create a better understanding of the plastics issue as a whole and to work with industry to pinpoint solutions and policy by addressing gaps and delivering evidence.
They’re currently sailing around the world on this mission with team members completing various legs. Follow along!
