We’re big fans of what travel provides us – particularly in way of new experiences, resilience, cultures, foods, deep friendships and learning about different practices and peoples. There’s a lot of ways we can travel more sustainably and ethically (we have a whole list up on our site if you’d like to give it a read).
Here’s another we came across. Kind Traveler is a socially conscious ”Give + Get” hotel booking platform where we can all see the eco credentials of an accommodation option we’re considering. It also offers special hotel perks upon a $10 nightly donation to a highlighted local charity that positively impacts the destination visited, or to a charity of choice. 100% of donations are given to charities. Anyone here used it and have any thoughts?
